What’s right in Copyright?
Mi ero sempre chiesto il criterio con il quale i siti inserivano l’anno accanto al famoso simbolo © ma la pigrizia aveva sempre prevalso sulla curiosità.
Inaspettatamente mi viene in aiuto un post di Amy Grahan che spiega che la questione non è così chiara neanche negli USA perchè teoricamente “Copyright is secured automatically when the work is created, and a work is ‘created’ when it is fixed in a copy or phonorecord for the first time” e l’anno è quello in cui il lavoro è stato prodotto e quindi, nel caso di un blog, apposto in automatico nel permalink.
Motivo per cui insistere nel mettere in un blog il simbolino © è un po’ come mettere il cartello “beware of the dog” e inserirci anche l’anno equivale a specificare che è anche feroce.
